Who we are

We’re Kumulon – a small but mighty team based in Minden, Germany, building cloud solutions that genuinely simplify financial processes: from legally compliant POS data archiving and e-invoicing (ZUGFeRD & XRechnung) to our B2B payment portal. We work deep in the SAP BTP ecosystem – without the corporate jargon and buzzword bingo.

And just so we’re clear: we’re not a shaky startup that might not exist next year. As a subsidiary of the Consult-SK Group and an SAP Silver Partner, we’re built on solid ground – serving international customers, with a strong focus on the US. What you’ll be doing

You’ll build cloud applications with us, from first idea to deployment. In practice, that means:

• TypeScript & web development are your daily business – backend with Express.js, plus HTML/CSS on the frontend
• You’ll build services with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) – or grow into it with us
• GitHub is our home for code, reviews, and CI/CD
• Deployment on SAP BTP – cloud-native, no legacy baggage
• Your work goes live for international customers, primarily in the US – what you build doesn’t sit in a drawer, it runs in production around the globe
• We work AI-assisted: Cursor as our IDE, AI-supported code reviews, and tooling that speeds us up instead of slowing us down. Nobody here codes like it’s 2015.

Full honesty: in a team this size, every single person has real impact – which also means things get chaotic sometimes, with three things on fire at once. If that excites you more than it scares you, you’ll fit right in.

What you bring

• Solid experience with TypeScript and modern web development (Express.js, HTML/CSS)
• Experience with SAP CAP is a plus – alternatively, you know your way around frameworks like NestJS, Spring Boot, or similar
• Comfortable with Git/GitHub and CI workflows
• Experience with SAP BTP or a hyperscaler like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Any kind of SAP experience is welcome – but by no means required
• Languages: fluent German and/or good/fluent English
• Degree or formal training (Ausbildung)? Nice to have – but skills and experience matter more to us than certificates.

• €40,000–60,000 annual salary – depending on experience
• Hybrid done right: 1–2 days per week at our office at Simeonsplatz 2 in Minden, the rest remote
